hi, shall it have Line input? can it be used as a heaphone amp paired with another dac?Dethonray is about to release the Honey H1, a portable USB DAC/AMP with 3.5mm, 4.4mm, LO and optical output.

There is just a Line output. Now, as it is an usb DAC/AMP, if you pair it with another DAC, I don’t think you can bypass the H1 own DAC-chip.
Please can someone with the required knowledge confirm this or not?

You cannot connect a dac to a lineout in any case, it is for output not input. And yes, in lineout, it would go through the h1’s dac at the highest volume available. This is mainly used for speakers or if you wanna pair it with another amp. There is no line-in in the h1

I thought the vendor would be sending out some review units prior to shipping out orders. Like the dtr1. Or am I missing something?When it releases?
