yes, I had the same problem. What it turned out to be was one folder in my collection had titles that included all sorts of weird characters, widgets, and strange formatting. When I pulled that folder out and changed all the titles to standard font, no problems
actually it might not be the same problem, since my card was never read no matter how I loaded it, till I took that folder with the weird formatting out. Since then, I have had no problem adding files one file or folder at a time.

The DTR1+ and Tender I are a killer combo. Fantastic resolution and detail. It has thick and very engaging sound, deep bass and clean treble. Lots of power for a such a small portable device. And the Tender I needs a lot of it. I thought the Typ711 were hard to drive but this one is even harder. Very pleased so far.

This combo is really great! In Extra High Gain, tender like a headphone. Smooth and nature, especially treble, just to the good point! Many IEM focus on high frequency, which make me feel tired easily.

The treble extension is quite good, very smooth and clean. Never fatiguing. For me the most impressive is the bass control. It's exceptional.

I’m thinking of getting either this player or the honey amp/dac. Is the tender the best iem to go with them?

The Tender was specifically tuned with the DTR1+ and Honey in mind.

Absolutely. I finally got my DTR1+ recently and it is simply mandatory for anyone who has the Tender 1. What a transparent, clean, detailed source. Great layering, dynamics and control.
Most of my other IEMs sound good on the DTR1+’s high gain but the Tender requires so much power it doesn’t sound quite driven properly on anything other than extra high gain.

I wondered if the 3.5mm SE-only output would be a drawback but it has only been a pleasure so far, bringing new life to some of my other 3.5mm gear.

So Tender is evidently tuned for the DTR1+ but here are some other pairings I enjoyed as well, while I’m at it:

Intime Sora. You could get 10-12 of these for the price of the Tender, and it scales up so ridiculously well I just had to mention it. Punchy, dynamic bass with good texture, and well-extended upper treble shimmer for lots of presence. Imaging and separation way above its price tag. Hamstrung only by its non-replaceable cable and 3.5mm plug. Of course it sounds great with other DAPs as well but imo has particularly good synergy with the DTR1+ which is only glad to do a good deal of the heavy lifting here as well.

Etymotic ER4B, ER4S and the like. It was asked here before, and no they are not overly bright with the DTR1+. The Etys are medium impedance IEMs and I’ve long held that their drivers just need a good deal of power to push out the bass and mids to balance out those highs. Complicated by their native 3.5mm SE plug with no balanced options being offered until recently. The DTR1+ of course has more than enough for the job without the need for a separate amp, and it’s the most complete and compact solution for the Etys that I’ve come across all these years.

Only drawback so far: all the balanced cables sitting around with not much to do.

New toys with DTR1+.
Muse single 14.5m planar with my new Kotori Carbon cable. Plenty of power and crazy sub bass with delicious mids articulate treble.

Remind me sort of the old Fender thirteen 6 but with better SQ.

Cool pair! how do you find Muse suits you?
watched the youtube about it rather not finding overall positive feedbacks...

I was at the audio shop this afternoon testing some Kotori cables, and was invited to give a hear. Oh man, just one track from Aerosmith album Honkin’ On Bobo enough to convince me. Damn…big sound with crazy sonic.

DTR1+ maybe made for planar….lol

Very different with what they said online, the DTR1+ indeed infused its power and beauty to planars, I have tried and prove my self with Raptgo Hook X, Shouer S12, Timeless and Tin P1 plus - they sings beautifully at Extreme Gain set.
