Enjoying it so far. My only gripe is battery size, frequent charging will be needed even if you use it moderately, it would be luxury to listen audio books on it. Also I wish it would memorize if I left something on pause before turning it off, so after turning it on I could continue listening from where I left, asked Anson about it maybe he will have some sort of solution. Also in artist's filter when you open specific artist's folder all albums are mixed together without subfolders but some artists do have subfolders, so the best solution is to use file browser so you are able to see pretty much everything. LCD display is hardly readable at daylight it would be almost impossible to use during very sunny day. These are things which could be improoved upon, otherwise everything is great.

Agree, some things can be improved in UI and hardware (like screen).
But sound is so fantastic, can't stop listening.

Absolutely agree! Like DTR1, drive my T5 very well,even better! Plus is not just plus, a big step forward based on DTR1.

Come on! The price of DTR1+ is good! I do not prefer to pay one penny to the LCD, lol! Never push Anson to design big screen, balanced output, BT....
We can find many gears with many functions, I mean expensive bricks. In some sense, prelude DTR1 series is a real -portable-affordable-HiFi(high end SQ) player.

Actually, I do need big screens, BO, BT, etc. Even opposite - I was looking for something simple with wonderful SQ and that's how I found out about DTR.

What I'm saying is to have a brighter screen, which you can read outside :) it's not easy with DTR1+ when the day is sunny.

For me balanced output, BT and big screen they are undesirable as energy consumption will then increase. Now I have 4 hours battery life on High Gain, but on this High Gain have a lot of power like other DAPs on balanced output.
