I realize the DTRs have tons of power- it's that many of my IEMs and phones are terminated in 4.4.
Also, because the OS is so simplistic if it can't have multiple song lists I think I'll pass. There are too many really good daps these days to suffer the lack of these features. I do love how fast it starts up though.....
Also, I wonder if it's the same hard to read in the light screen???

Check Anson's facebook there he has post about it. As I understand in that photo we see a comparison of the old charger and the new one. The new one seems to be a cable with a circuit board to which USB C power cable would be attached connecting the circuit board with an external power source. So power source>USC C cable>circuit board with the cable>dtr1+
I think that's the correct interpretation. Still have no idea if it will include a USB-C to Micro USB cable in the box.

I think there is no need for such cable, it is not even clear if that socket is micro usb it can be the same micro hdmi but I do not see a problem here, I think that circuit board will already have that part of cable by default as you see in pictures, it will be sort of a DAC dongle concept all you will need is standard usb to usb c cable, the rest will be dongle with a tail tailored for that connection on DTR1+, that I think makes sense.

All you need is just a standard usb c cable to plug into that power supply the rest is sorted. These two power supplies are just for comparison ignore one on the left.
