OK, here are some thoughts: I'm now using the digital out to the full monty, utilising the AOS DAC. First I bought a digital cable from the shop (2 X RCAs) and a mini adapter. This sounded great! Wow! Big difference! However, as I listened to some Norah Jones tracks that I know very well, I noticed a few probs with certain notes and instruments. The guitar was not quite as I remembered it....

Sooooo, I changed out the digital cable for one of my Cardas Neutral Ref ICs...mmmmmm....the guitar re-entered the room, just as I remembered it!! I wasn't quite sure what would happen but the fact of the matter is: this sounds good!! I'm really enjoying this little setup!
