Don't know where you got your info but the TH-600 and TH-900 pads are both angled. Not as angled as the Denon, Lawton, Alphas, etc. but they definitely have an angle.

opps....i got confused with the new denons ...

Well, my D7000's have caused me to sell my LCD2.2's.  I just find them to have more detail, clarity, and musicality.  I am using a Burson Conductor, and both sounded good with it.  But the Denons just let more music come through, better revealing the nuances in vocalists.  Previously, I sold my HD800's in favor of my D7000's.
Yes, I am a fan!

this can scales with your setup....
when i put my audiogd on high gain,
slot the denon in balanced mode...
this can is totally under tight control,
one of my fav cans.

Or get it into a warm tango with the darkvoice336se...nice.

I have the Audio-GD10.32 and balanced d7000 headphones. If I put it on high gain, I can only listen to D7000 on volume level 2. I like the result but find it annoying that I can't adjust the volume level more.

Sorry for my poor English. Lorspeaker, I appreciate very much your insights since I have some of the same equipment.

If u are looking for powercords, look up the CABLEDYNE ...awesome depth clarity ...hate to use the word holographic..its a dirty word..
but tats what came to my mind.

Ok im in the position of being able to buy either a D7000 or a LA2000. I can get the D7000 for 500ish euro and the LA2000 for around 450. I was wondering if anyone wanted to weigh in on wich would be a better deal and if either of the 2 is actually a good deal.

I have both D2k and D7k, and agree with other on D7000. The mod will not significantly change the D2k.
