Denon AHD7000 Ultra Reference Audio Over Ear Headphones - Focus Camera

Check it out!

Denon AH-D7000 for $607.70

I guess they are taking pre-orders for it, although it says backordered.
I didn't realize the sale price would be that far below the supposed list of $999.00.

They must have an official release date if they already know what price they are selling them for.

This is good news to us die-hard Denon lovers.

Now all we need is a D5000 smiley.

This is a lot of money(even at this discount price) for a phone that looks the same as its predecessor and claims to only have new drivers(as far as I know). This is definitely one phone an experienced D2000/5000 owner should audition before buying!!

Yeah, unfortunately these will be out of my reach for awhile, too. I have a 15 year old television that needs upgrading. My uncle's ex-wife works at Sony, so a $2700 Sony Bravia KDL-46Z4100 can be had for $1700 (about 28% off retail price and then the last week of every month an additional 20% off). And besides, my D5000 rig sounds so incredibly close to perfection, it really doesn't need upgrading. But I'm sure I will bite on the D7000 soon enough. Anyone know the official release date yet?

Drivers are the most important thing. Also, many other headphones use mostly the same housing and just have better drivers along their line of products.

*edit* Actually, after looking at some pics, I agree with you. They could have at least changed the type of wood or something they used. It's looks too identical.

Hmmm...something about those prices worries me...anyone know if those are reputable sellers?

Exactly as I expected - not a place I would buy these. I want to be able to get help if there is a problem...
