Finally completed the upgrade to Apex Rossini. Extremely delighted that the Rossini has been back in the house to complete the entire setup.

Rossini APEX - biggest upgrade I have ever experienced over the past 25 years being on the Naim/Linn upgrade rodeo.
Mine came back 2 weeks ago - Quite honestly I simply cannot understand how the engineers were able to increase performance on such an astronomical level.

The Rossini APEX upgrade is fantastic for sure, but now I think about how good the Vivaldi APEX must sound!

You're way too excited, better send it to ASR for some measurements :p

For sure!! I found out in the space of one week from ASR my Chord DAVE is only worth about $300 DAC+HP amp and my MScaler is worthless!

There’s certainly seems to be enough of us with Rossini interest - maybe we should start a Rossini thread.

I’m interested in hearing the APEX upgrade, and just assumed I would do it next year, but a couple nights ago we had an electrical storm come through late at night and it zapped my Rossini player (and took out a security camera, garage door sensors, tripped some circuits, and … well I’m still finding things). I wonder if enough survived that I might just do the APEX upgrade. I was mortified upon discovery, and I’m still testing, but it currently seems like only the network port is affected. I’m still able to play a CD and I tried streaming via USB (with an iFi Zen Stream) and that worked great. I cringe at what the repair bill might be. And I’ve only had it for about 6 weeks.

May want to try using the loop network port, another cable, and/or another port on your router. See if it’s just the main port input jack itself, or something else.

Sorry to ask this question here because I own a Dave. Does anyone have a power cord recommendation?
