Is the guide pin totally missing? You can glue those back on. Then there's these (which may be what they sent you already):Well,.mixed feelings on this one. Tests just ok, at 50%.. and the original guide post at the bottom is missing (broke off?) I should've caught it from the listings photos (they did drop in some sort of adapter so not really a deal breaker) Hey...been awhile since I purchased anything (tubewise) ... warming her up for a listen.
Chatham 6080 (ceramic plates) (date??)
That's the adapter they have on it, sounds good, open and airy. Not the bass smack of the Bendix but it has the soundstage. Is the guide pin totally missing? You can glue those back on. Then there's these (which may be what they sent you already):

Just a hint on the graphite plates: they take a good while to fully warm up, much longer than normal steel plates. Mine don't really strut their stuff until they've been warmed up for at least 20 minutes.
Yes, they have staggered plates.@JKDJedi question for you - remember way back when you tried a Ken-Rad Clear Glass 6SN7 and liked it as much as the Black Glass version - did your clear glass tube have staggered plates?
I'm gonna have to grab one of these and the Sophia.. (if they still make the Sophia) Nice looking tubeWondering if anyone here has tried this on the DV yet? Linlai E-6SN7. I'm trying some new production tubes, this one seems to have a lot of promise.
Damn…I didn’t know they (Sophia) made 6SN7 tubes. I only know them for the 300b.I'm gonna have to grab one of these and the Sophia.. (if they still make the Sophia) Nice looking tube
Shhhh! Prices for KR staggered plates are still somewhat reasonable compared to the black glass variants.Yes, they have staggered plates.

Tell me about it. Prices for 6SN7/6F8G octals and ECC88/6922/6DJ8 novals are pretty insane, especially for matched pairs required by my Liquid Glass. Thankfully, the LG can accept other tube types including the oft-ignored 12SN7GT's, which are still reasonably priced due to the lack of amps that are specially designed for them.LOL. Prices are killing me. That’s why I’m also looking at new production tubes now and see what is what.
Those qualities likely accentuate that warmish and open-sounding grey glass RCA.That's the adapter they have on it, sounds good, open and airy. Not the bass smack of the Bendix but it has the soundstage.
Sad story with that grey glassed tube. Probably my most holographic tube. It's a VT-231 National Union. I ruined it by trying to be cute with nail polish learning how to stabilise loose bases. Well, I learned alright. I accidently rubbed some of the lettering off the base... (I'm still crying about it years later) but I have managed to save a few peoples junk tubes off eBay and saved some really good tubes (GEC) as new from the tough lesson. The before and after photos...Those qualities likely accentuate that warmish and open-sounding grey glass RCA.
