It's a bit early for this question, as the Beyer T5p is not yet available.
I am quite uncertain if I should go for my "transportable" rig with the T1 or T5p.

I have read more than only one post, that portable amps are just not enough or at least not optimal to drive a T1.
But on the other side the DACport is an excellent piece of hardware...

It would be very helpful and interesting, if someone has experience regarding the combination DACport/Beyer T1 and could share some information about it.

One could think about three scenarios:
a) Laptop + DACport + Beyer T1
b) Laptop + DACport + Lisa III + Beyer T1
c) Laptop + DACport + Beyer T5p

What concerns option b): I am unsure if it sounds better than a). But it adds to the complexity of the system (which is a disadvantage)

If it is going to be transportable maybe the long cable and high impedance should make you not want T1s?
