I did the same thing (SE) and heard absolutely no difference between the cables (I'm a cable believer by the way). It was a much, much better cable ergonomically, but sonically, no Difference. I guess my mileage varied! LOL

I have just received back my DT770 80 Ohm from Custom Cans today. 'Uber' and fully balanced mod with detachable cable. Quality of the cable and workmanship is excellent and big improvement in sound performance. Many thanks to the team for a great job!

These waiting for the final tuning grill mod to be launched.... they sound great as they are but iam just curious what swapping the grilles can do to the sound.

Got a new cable from CC for my Denon, lovely cable and fitting, great job.
One more cable that I want reduced in length and maybe further down the line a detachable mod to my Grado SR225e’s, still need to think about that one.
