Theyre really good sounding phones IMHO. Don't let the low price fool you, they are a lot better than most comparably priced portables.

The mylar2 is also very good. A little warmer and bassier... easier to enjoy for the non-critical listener.

IMHO the mylar2 physically feels more robust/sturdy, although both are probably equal. And the stock tips are only ...OK.

Hello everyone
I am new to the forum - I came here to read up on purchasing some headphones.

I just saw this post for the mylar 3s and it has somewhat changed my mind on what I decided on.

Do you think these are worth buying over the super.fi 3.?

Yes, word is MylarThree and MylarOne X3 are two different names for the same earphone.

Went ahead and purchased them. The customer support is great. I just wish these headphones looked a bit nicer. I saw some all black prototype picture and they looked alot better than the red and blue.
