I took my friend to buy a cowon plenue m2 and i ended up buying one for myself.
So i am joining this nice thread. Also i bought fiio a5 amp and they fit exatcly the same size as if theu were made for each other

We tired all cowon s, p1 and m2 and they all sounded the same to us

So we settled for the plenue m2

Sounds the same?!
And was the m2 cheapest of the bunch?

can i ask since this has no line out what is best to do when connecting the cowon plenuse m2 to an amp, should i put the volume on m2 to highest and control volume on amp or vice versa

Set Plenue M2 to earphone mode with volume maxed and control volume with amp.

To my ears Opus#1 with latest firmware sounds better then this.

so no other option for a case than the gmarket one, so u do not use a case with ur cowon

for a case to pay so much is a bit too much, will see what i can put it in until other option become available

It's a beautiful device, hate putting cases on them. I'm too clumsy not to though.

From where can we get the cheapest offering for this DAP?  Much better if it comes bundled with a case.

can i ask what volumes do you usally listen to with m2 and iems with high or low gain, can you give examples which iems and at what volumes?
