I need some help with my brand new Cowon Plenue D. I have a 64GB Samsung micro SD card with 2400 songs on it. When I insert the card in my Plenue D and do a database update it only sees 470 songs. What is the problem? I put the same card in my A&K Jr. player and it sees all the 2400 songs. All of them are FLAC files. Also my Galaxy Note 4 can read and play all the 2400 flac files on the SD card. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks a lot,
Matt
Ok so I brought a new Samsung Pro 128GB card and formatted as per instructions I found here; used SDformatter then guiformat setting to 32k cluster size.
I copied a few test files to the card and it works fine in the Plenu D
Next I tried copying a few more files across, approx 28GB, these copy fine and can play them from the card in Windows.
When i put the card in the Plenue it does a database update, takes a minute or two, then I can play some of the files, when I check the card back in Windows, now there is only 7GB of files.
The folders from the missing files are still there, but the files themselves are gone. The files were definitely there as I was able to play them direct from the card in Windows.
I have reformatted a number of times, no errors when formatting, same result.
From another thread here I tried copying with the card in the Plenu connected to USB, this always fails after a minute or two with a disk error, and usually borks the card requiring a format to fix.
I'm at a loss to explain this issue, is it the card or the Plenu???
edit to add: Have got the latest firmware and disabled my antivirus from scanning the card
Topic created for the player Cowon Plenue D users to report any problems they are having with the device.
Problems solved:
1 - Noise During the exchange of track
I'm having a problem with Plenue D. The songs of the internal memory of the player during the exchange of track to another track are showing noise (very low), but this only happens when the screen is off. The noise is much weaker in the SD card , however it is still . It has a solution for this problem?
Firmware V. 1.14 fixed the problem
Problems to be solved:
1 - More skins options
Add more skins options for Plenue D. I would be very happy if I had more options. And I wish you had (if possible) any skin that owned a VU Meter (I attached a picture illustrating).
2 - Maximum number of files it's too small
After I bought a 128GB micro SD card for my Plenue D I noticed that the file limit is too small. Increase this limit in the next firmware
3 -Limit for reading micro SD cards up to 128GB
Many users are having trouble using micro SD card with 200GB capacity. People can copy the files to the card, they appear on the PC, but do not play when the Plenue D is being used.
