I would prefer usb c, faster, stronger and reversible...

Faster does not always mean better as that also introduces more chances of transfer error. Stronger? Not really, it has no locking method, over time it gets loose and loses connection and the gauge is the same, only has more wires for increasing bandwidth. On the connection it is slightly thicker only. Only nice thing is it is reversible. I'm not impressed by it even though it will likely be the next standard port.

Does anybody tried to connect it with a Galaxy S9? (OTG)
