it doesn't stand for line out from what i know, but for what does it stands?...

I mean the line out from which the internal DAC's signal can be re-routed to an external one (amp), as to avoid any interference.....
(correct me if it's wrong)
 
On the iPods it's that line-out, which you use to connect it to your computer.

Line Out Dock. I guess it got that name because the iPod docks all use it.

Anyone know how well these work with the Senn IE8's?  I'm having trouble finding a portable source that isnt warm, I tend to like high treble and deep bass.  Any input is appreciated, thanks.

they should work fine.... and, sorry, but most of time i tell line out LO simply.... not LOD.... because most of devices do not have docks....

Thanks 4D, I've ordered one and should receive it later today. I will post my impressions and no doubt numerous questions in a week or so.
On a side note, just after I confirmed the order a Samsung Galaxy S smart phone arrived on my desk so it will be interesting to compare the interface/response of the two devices.

Woot, the US X.33 is out finally. They fixed the problem with the files taking 40 seconds to display.

i think that he was reffering to all files.... this issue is something on the j3 if you have lots of photos....
