Hey there,

A slight newbie in the IEM market here.

I was wondering if somebody could recommend me some IEM's?

Have a budget of around £100 or under.

I currently, and have only ever owned pairs of Sony MDR-EX500's - which I LOVE! Have tried the EX510's but was more fond of the 500's.

I listen to 30 Seconds to Mars, Linkin Park, Paramore, Muse etc as well as movie scores occasionally.

Sorry if there are already suggestions out there - have been looking around and can't really find much!

Not too sure on preferred sound signature or whether I like bass, mids or treble :D

All I know is I like my MDR-EX500's. I listen to Alternative rock music, on the Rock EQ on my IPod. I find that EQ makes it sound much clearer, without it, I find the music to sound crap. I THINK I like treble, but not sure what else. I know I tried the MDR-EX510's and found them to be good with treble but just 'lacking' in terms of what sounds so good to me. Sorry I can't be much more help than that!

Currently looking at some Panasonic HJE900's - any views on those? Or could I get better for £70?

Thanks

Both are good, ZERO being a bit more mid-forward than RE0.
