I currently have some Audio Technica A700s and I really enjoy them. They are used with my computer for gaming, music (rock, R&B, just about anything), and some movies. I started with an XtremeGamer, then moved to an Auzentech Forte and when that died I just barely got an HT Omega Claro Halo. Currently I'm toying with the idea of getting a better pair of headphones. The A700s are extremely comfortable and are by far the best set of headphones I have ever used. I'm also okay with buying used if it is a good enough deal and the previous owner took good care of their gear. They would also need to be closed.
What would you suggest for a budget of ~$250?
Would a new pair have the same impact as these did coming from cheap headsets?
