Maybe they didn't restart the numbering for the wooden models. I have new silver 325i(s) and they were numbered 107. My previous goldies were 9192.

I'm guessing that like me, everyone has had a go at inserting the logical filename of the PS1000 photo into their browser and been dissapointed it didn't show up.

The GS1000 (that I posted pics of) shows serial # 7273 inside the box. And the outside of the box uses just standard "GS1000" identification stickers on the outside.

So I'm not sure what to make of it.

Well we kind of knew it would be metal but it is confirmed here:

Glad I sold my PS-1 when I did. I imagine this might bring the value down. If I had to guess, it will have the flange look of the 325i housing but with deeper cups. Whether is will have GS1000 bagels is the big question. I'm guessing it sticks with the bowls and sounds very close to the original PS-1.

Not sure if it was answered but the PS-1 had a very quick, punchy bass. The punchiest bass I've heard. They were probably better for fast, hard rock than my current L3000, but the L3000 wins for the better all rounder rock headphone.

Quite a year for new headphones.

Didn't someone mention in one of the other related threads that Grado had a special update for late next week?

I wouldn't be surprised if they waited to reveal the PS1000 next Thursday or Friday. I hope we see em tonight, but still, wouldn't be surprised.
