Comparisons between FiiO FD3 and FH3

one last question....what about the soundstage?
fd3 seems to have a semi open design...does this increase the the stage more than fh3.

Thanks a lot man for helping me out!
The soundstage of FD3 is more like a soundstage than FH3. When listening the same song, FD3 makes me feel like sitting in a real room and listening the performers playing instruments. Compared to FD3, FH3 just gives me a playground, even the soundstage is huge, it can't make me feel real. In one word, I think that FH3 has a bigger but emptier soundstage than FD3.

I have been a FH3 fanboy since past few years for its warmish intimate sound, and now after reading your comparison I think one should retire FH3 but am kinda skeptical about the sibliance issue that you have pointed out.

I mean the sound from 5kHz to 6kHz. You can increase this part of sound in the equalizer to experience what I call "sibliance" (I'm not sure whether it is correct to use "sibliance" to describe this sound).
