Comparing Closed-back Headphones from Dan Clark Audio: E3, NOIRE X and AEON 2 Noire

I came across the Aeon 2 noire. I am driving them balanced with the Ibasso dx260mk2. They sound good but I have volume @75-80 depending on the song. Do these require more power?

Noire X are actually more efficient than Aeon series so you’ll need less power. E3 are harder to drive than Aeons.

E3 has been in the house over a month now. It leaks a bit more than NX, both ways.
Naim is very capable with E3, awesome pairing. Sound is just perfect.

Glad to hear Naim is driving them well! I personally don’t mind a bit of leakage from E3 - makes for less isolating experience. Perhaps that is also contributing to the “open-back-like” feel of the E3!
