CALs (Creative Aurvana Live) are Creative Labs version of the Denon 1001, check eBay for used CALs.

After research and deliberation, I think I'm going after the Sennheiser 595's. Terrific reviews all over the web and Amazon has them (from one seller) for a killer 120.00, including shipping. Now I just need to pull the trigger before that price changes...
