Hadn't heard any of Zelenka's music - thanks.

But as soon as I heard the oboe, knew it was Holliger.

There was a Nonesuch release of this work featuring soprano Dawn Upshaw that surprisingly became a huge crossover best-seller in the 1990s. That's the version I have.

I love the sombre mood of Winterreise but it gets better with the power of Mr. Schmidt voice.

Listened to the second volume today. These Preludes and Fugues are so imaginative, and played to perfection. Great sound.

Heard the first concerto on the radio and I love it!!! The disc is >400$ on amazon but you can listen to it on Spotify. I want to call it a hidden gem but maybe way more people know about it and I'm just daft.
