Hello there! :D

I’m looking to build my first ever CIEM. I have everything under control except how to choose and combine drivers. I don’t know the science behind how to combine and how to calculate or what the professionals do - but would like to learn if anyone would be kind enough to walk me through it (or at least tell me where to educate myself about it).

So far I’ve got these thing under control:

- Impressions made by pro audiologist.

- Shell made from UV resin from negative mold of my impressions.

- Driver (I think?): Knowles GV-32830-000

I would love some constructive criticism and any tips, tricks and hints.

I promise to upload pictures and explanations along the way, as I acquire new knowledge. And hopefully it’ll end up with me building the most awesome CIEMs, which can then be done by anyone afterwards.

Best regards

There's a YouTube reviewer named Hi-Fri Audio that tears down iems and I think he talks about the drivers. Not sure if that's helpful, but best of luck!
