  CCK will only work for iPod Touch / iPhone running iOS 7.x or above, and iPad Mini / iPad running any iOS versions.
 
An iPod Classic won't be running iOS and that's why CCK is no good in that case.

You have to wonder how many trials a product goes through and what gets them to this point.
In fairness to chird the recessed jacks is a very good idea for mobile use but who would use them in noble situation.

I think he tried booting without the stock battery and he confirmed it doesn't boot without the stock battery because the Hugo checks for if the battery is charged? This is based on the bad Google translation.  Looks like that small device is a portable laptop charger since it's 12V that Hugo takes for it to charge.
