Finally someone changed the RCA and Coaxial jacks of Hugo

Wow, awesome job. Great RCA plugs. Chord should've done this before releasing the device.
 
Anyone tried Fostex TH600 with Hugo? Are TH900 worth the price difference?

replaced the RCA and coaxial jacks to higher quality ones


I guess Chord couldn't afford to do this for the price they charge...:rolleyes:

I think it probably more likely that they didn't want the jacks protruding from the case than what you're suggesting.


I guess they didn't expect people to plug cables into them? :p

You have to wonder how many trials a product goes through and what gets them to this point.
In fairness to chird the recessed jacks is a very good idea for mobile use but who would use them in noble situation.

I think he tried booting without the stock battery and he confirmed it doesn't boot without the stock battery because the Hugo checks for if the battery is charged? This is based on the bad Google translation.  Looks like that small device is a portable laptop charger since it's 12V that Hugo takes for it to charge.
