I would be terrible at hifi reviews as I don't know all the buzz words but whenever I listen to the Hugo it gives me goosebumps even with take that and that's saying something

Some Sorbothane underlay would probably help, too  

I put a load of that underlay in my car only had a mini club man,sounded great but struggled to get up hills,also upgraded the battery and alternator to keep things ticking over nicely In the end I just bought 240 v domestic hifi for my car and had the Mrs hang out the window unravelling the extension lead to Wales and bless her ravel it back up on the way home

Some of my friend here in Taiwan can hear SQ difference between power adapter plugged in and unplugged.
 

 
If the power adapter is noisy then even though it won't (in theory) affect the Hugo it might affect other components on the same circuit, such as the amp.  What was the set up you used?

Can't the human eye brain combination see millions of colour shades I think it would be nice to have more to play with. Can't you add a few more in between shades Rob.

Yes it would be easy to do - problem is making it a recognisable colour, not shades of yellow say.

Can't the Hugo drive HD800s or HD650s well? I was told it can do it well.

 
My full-size headphone amps drive the HD800s a lot better.  What they lose in detail, if anything, they make up for in grunt, soundstage width and effortlessness.  It's not about loudness, it's about power if that makes sense?

The dcs vivaldi dac going for 20 grand so if you think chord Hugo or Qbd 76 dac isn't good value then you need your heads testing

Sell all the desktop amps and the HD800's, buy a pair of low impedance cans, LCD-X.  Use the Hugo amp only.  Use the remaining money and space for additional music purchases.:wink_face:

Thank you my friend, as you have often said on this thread before, Hugo makes music more enjoyable, I would say-sublime, even! So , we need to hear as much good music as we possibly can, it's what it's all about!
