Does anyone know what the square white light is?
I know the round one is the charging light but on the other side there is a square white one that I just saw come on today and blink.

Another note, anyone ever had problem charging Hugo? When the battery is low, I notice sometimes the white light does not come on. I have to unplug and replug to get it to charge again.

That one's on all the time here when Hugo is switched on. I understood it to be indicative of when the battery is discharging.

This one looks the ticket -> http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z10.3-c.w4002-4116195291.90.YKaDjm&id=36670547442

But does it work and will they ship to the uk.

The same shop showed some pictures with ZX1 and Hugo here

Similar one that should work for Hugo's recessed USB inputs

Actually you could consider asking Frank to make that cable for you since he's located in UK as well

The connector for ZX1 costs only $17 shipped

Simply show Frank some pictures from this link and explain what you're looking for, he'll understand what to do but you've gotta tell him those USB inputs of Hugo are recessed

The battery life of ZX1 won't be great once you connect that to USB DAC like Hugo even though Hugo won't consume power via USB at all. Such battery drain should be fairly common for Android devices but no issues with iOS ones

LOL, anyone living anywhere in the world could easily pay for UK domains. They're also selling the same stuff here

Err... do you think I don't realise that?

The point is simply that it's peculiar to set-up a USD-centric website using a UK domain.

This is an android DAP not a smartphone or tablet. It's battery life will be increased by using the Hugo as it's own DAC and amp sections will not be used.
The only iOS device to compare would be an iPod, which again should show an increased battery life if used in conjunction with the Hugo.

I do the same but the big problem is the battery drain on the ZX1 using the external DAC.
I end up using the line out and just an external amp, the new E12 special edition.

Yes digital out drains out at a prodigious rate. Ruined the ZX1 for me. Line out gave no issue. No idea why digital out uses so much power compared to other DAPS.

また、接続中はウォークマンのバッテリーが通常よりも早く消費されることがあります

Oh... I see. Sony have some pretty poor design there then. You tarred all android based DAP's with the same brush. Do they all have the same problem?
My Fiio X5 (not android) behaves as it should and uses cosiderably less power as a transport than as a player.
My Samsung tablet (android) does not consume disproportionately high levels of power when connected to Hugo using USB Audio Player Pro.

Thanks very much for the detailed information as usual

Yes the battery drain is my frustration and reason why I don't want to spend too much to make it work, else the money would be better spent on AK or other DAP that doesn't have the battery drain.

Its the wmport connector that seems huge and will still stick out of the hugo area as it does with the official cable i have today.

Mhh, I only wish this was true, but is not unfortunately.

For the first time I tried connecting my iPhone to Hugo via Bluetooth. Streaming Tidal I was not impressed at all. Listening direct from the phone would have been a lot better. Is this your experience?
