I wouldn't bet on it. They have the same problem that the 2go uses micro-usb

No,Hugo 3 won’t be released anytime soon.I was told that by Rob Watts a few weeks ago…

Are they even working on a Hugo 3? Chord are not known for iterative minor updates.

There is nothing inherently wrong with the DAC. Although built in wi-fi ; support for 5Ghz and updated codecs and USB-C connectivity have been on the wish list for some time. USB-C also allows for fast charging!

I am up for an update only if the DAC is improved dramatically and perhaps the power output increased so it can drive harder to drive HP's...the improvements mentioned are nice but not enough for me to upgrade and spend the money

That could potentially impact on sales of the tt2. Other than portability, the tt2 is exactly that. Improved DAC and drives hard to drive headphones.

Lately, I've been experimenting a bit with my Hugo2, so far, the best experience has to be

CD-rips >> Roon >> HQPlayer >> Hugo 2

At first, I wasn't sure about HQPlayer but after a week or so of usage and then coming back to just H2 the differences are noticeable!

Also, Mojo Poly became my Dishwashing/house walking/city walking buddy! If only I could get the H2 setup everywhere... Still, I'm in love with both.

Also, I don't own the M-scaler. -after trying this I am definately interested.- So, based on the article that I posted on this reply, M-scaler is still better but you can get a taste of it for free so, why not try?

Your post has made me curious about HQplayer.
My Roon Core isn’t in my listening room so I’m using Hugo 2 with 2Go.
Does HQplayer work with RAAT or does it need a USB connection to the Roon Core PC or an HQplayer endpoint? (I also have a microRendu with HQplayer NAA)

Edit. Never mind. I figured it out.
I’d need to have an NAA.

Technically you could stream to 2Go i think. The issue with 2Go/poly is that their wifi chips are not good enough to stream upscaled files. (2.4 ghz is not enough) The option you have for 2Go which I’m curious but cannot try at the moment is ethernet. So, not a wireless experience but should be interesting to try.

If it helps, I've experimented with updated files by putting them on an SD card in the 2go.

Now that’s interesting as well… you mean that you upscaled and saved your files? If so, how did you upscaled and saved them?
