Sound quality is subjective. But I gained a bigger wound stage
My Pw adapter is the 1960s (cardas clear) wiring inside so results might be different

Why would it provide better sound quality. Nothing is “magic” in this hobby. Cables, adapters, etc that don’t serve a purpose are not a part of my setup. I’m also not a believer, in general, that a cheap piece of equipment is going to revolutionize your audio chain. Little cables, audiophile rocks, adapters etc are not going to improve your chain unless something you currently have is broken. The Hugo 2 is one of the better pieces of gear on the market when it comes to source gear but, it still doesn’t make a massive, instantly audible difference. It’s a very subtle difference and it’s also not easily identifiable as “better” depending on the track. If you want a more radical change in the sound of your setup you’ll need to play with EQ or use different headphones.

That's not gonna do anything other than let you plug your pentacon cables. If you truly want improvements on your system get something like an M-scaler, TT2, or Dave.

Do buy whatever you need to plug your system properly but don't try to improve your audio using fancy dancy cables/adapters. If you notice any improvements it's mainly as some have said above, due to the RCA's being a better output. The adapter is just transporting your signal correctly.

Add Roon to your audio chain, Qobuz, and get some CDs. Heck! You can even add HQplayer in the loop and experiment with it if you don't want to go all in and get an M-scaler but I would suggest you don't go that hard on adapters and so-called "high-end cables". Lately, I've been using the stock USB cable included with my Hugo2 with some ferrite chokes just to avoid interference from other equipment. I tried AB'ing with a fancy "audiophile" cable that I have, and surprise surprise, not a difference at all. HQplayer did more impact than any cable or adapter I've ever owned.

Don't let the world of "improvements" distract you from what I guess is the reason you got your Hugo 2 in the first place. Enjoying music.

I’m using Hugo 2 with 2go and that’s absolutely perfect with T+A Solitaire.
Don’t even think to change anything and try to improve what not needs to be improved (from my pint of view)
