Chord Electronics - Hugo 2 - The Official Thread

I also tried with my Hugo and my PMC FB1i 90 db/m and 8 ohm and it was no success, as way to low volume in a medium room and when playing with "white" volume too much distortion. Think only Dave can pull that off... unless speakers are more sensitive of course...

At 99 db, my speakers, Klipsch Heresy III, are extraordinary sensitive for "standard" 3-way speakers. But on the other hand, a speaker amp is probably a better choice :)

On the bright side of the delay for the Hugo2, there is still time to apply for the Review Tour if anyone is interested. :)

We are taking pre order by phone currently for the Hugo 2. We will have both the black and silver model. I am hoping our site will be updated about it soon to make it more convenient to pre order. Until then, give us a call. We are fun to talk to! Ha :) By the way, we are a very proud Chord dealer!

You sound like a fun bunch of guys who take people seriously.  Almost wish I lived near you.  Re: the Questyle threads.

Is the RCA-out of Hugo 2 fixed or variable, as in can I hook my powered speakers straight into it, or would I need a preamp in between?
