I have a similar problem when trying to play games on my pc with a hugo 2. When i load up a game the sound becomes slow and distorted. Is there a workaround to play games with it? Im guessing because the sound is 5.1 and not stereo?

That sound like a sample rate issue/conflict.

You could use the RCA outs to a Schiit Loki then to an external amp.

Let me know if you found any solution, for me its the same problem all of the time... tried all kinds of the windows audio configurations and nothing helped..

i cant find a solution so im using my topping D90 for games and the chord for music

I never had issue playing PC games with Mojo, Qutest, Hugo 2, or TT2.

You can set your PC output to stereo and not surround if that's a problem.
I assume you have the Chord Hugo 2 drivers from the Chord website installed.
Last suggestion would be, make sure your Hugo 2 is powered on before launching a game.

Can't think if anything else.

I’m very happy with the Hugo 2 and the HEX V2 too, but I wonder what a different amplifier would bring in this case like you have.

i have arya's.they are absolutely incredible. i have a hugo 2 connected to a monoprice THX887. they sound good with the hugo 2 but the 887 drives them even better and can go much louder
