Chord Electronics - Hugo 2 - The Official Thread

I thought it would be Mojo but 2Go is another possibility. The Mojo has been on sale in plenty of places recently and I did see an interview or comment from someone in Chord saying a Mojo update was actively being developed. But then again, so has 2Go supposedly. Who knows, could be something unrelated - keen to find out!

I think it will be Mojo 2. I hope so anyway, I will be somewhere near the front of the queue.

2Go is showing in Chord's 2020 product catalogue which dealers have and it's been linked on this thread (can't find it on my phone atm).

So if it's just one new product at CanJam then it's 2Go (highly likely).

I've done searches for the following with limited success. I'm not technically savvy. So please be gentle!

I'm looking to buy an electrostatic amp to pair with my Hugo 2 and stax sr-009s hp. The problem is that the h2 has RCA line out while most of the amps I'm considering seen to use balanced xlr inputs. Is it possible to convert from RCA to xlr in a neutral and cost-effective way?

Many thanks in advance!

I think the speculation that the 2Go is going to be announced at the next event must be right. Someone most likely already reported that. However what I mean is a bit of print in latest What HiFi about the upcoming Bristol show. They say Chord will debut a new device to transform the capability of one its popular products.

I can't think of anything else but 2Go, and it should be along anytime anyway.

Sounds like a pretty safe bet. Will be interesting to see time from debut to available. But will be getting it. Poly was a bit of a chore to start but great now.

Debut to available? normally visible on chord's website and dealers websites (with price showing) on the same day it debuts or is announced. this is what happened before. waiting in a queue for your product is a different story.

Chord just fixed my failed Hugo 2 under warranty and it's on its way back! I was not the original owner. It did exhibit problems within the first 9 months after warranty but took 6 more months to completely stop working. Great to know they repaired it under warranty, though I had to pay for shipping both ways. Not a problem for me and they were kind enough to include a replacement power supply!
