Is it that the Poly is actually on FW 2.0, or the updater says it's on 2.0?

I'd reach out to Chord. You can't be the first one trying to update an old Poly.
Hi sir, the gofigure app says it is on 2.0.0
I also was able to use the voice prompt using the config button and it also says it is on 2.0.0.

It is currently working flawlessly on my mojo 1 and cant wait to also use it on my mojo 2

Well, it's good you're on 2.0.

The question now is how to point the Poly to the new Chord update server.

When I went from 2.0 to 3.0, it was with the old chord update server.

I wonder why Chord does not simply make the update files available for direct download from their web site and let us copy them to Poly SD card to update. It's pretty standard process to update firmware these days (ie on many cameras) so why not make everyone's life simple instead of having to mess around relying on these servers.

Perhaps they are concerned that someone might reverse engineer the firmware

Maybe so but perhaps they should actually hope someone does that. Their devices are so awesome as far as sound quailty goes that going the open source route somehow (either directly or via someone reverse engineering) would probably only help them get more customers.

What app is everybody using to create MPD playlists now that Glider appears to be gone. Are you using MPDluxe or something else?

M.A.L.P via Windows subsystem for Android.

Sorry, I should've specified iOS.

MaximumMPD - works on both ios and android. However on android MAFA is my favorite - wish it was available on ios.

Cool. I've got MaximumMDP, I was just curious if there was something else out there that was better. Thanks for the info.

If you look through this thread (over last month or so) you will also see some suggestions on how to create poly ready playlists on desktops. That's probably the right way to go if you rely on playlists a lot. I personally don't even use playlists on poly so far - simply load the full albums via file browser and play them from beginning to end (forcing myself to listen to stuff I would normally not add to playlists - rediscovering my whole library this way is kind of cool and reminds of of using the vinyl lp's back in the day).

playing around with the poly, I try to figure out how to index the music files on sdcard.

I want to use my 1TB sd card for my astell and kern and the Poly (so share the SD card between the two). All my music files are sorted by folders as: Genre/Artistname/Album per artist. I always use FOLDER view, because I know exactly what album, is stored where.

Is it possible to use it that why with the Poly too? And how? through Iphone IOS

What I am trying to say, is there a way to browse it the same way as I do on my astell and kern 'In Folder View'?
Because I really hate indexed files, where you get one big garbage bag of thousands of music files.

Even in my spotify everything is sorted in genre maps, artists maps and under that album maps.

That is exactly how I use it (same sorted order you have and shows up exactly like that in folder view). And I always play it via folder view from MaximumMPD when using my ipad (in poly hotstpot mode). Although I prefer Android MAFA app but MaximumMPD does work fine as well. Not sure if you even have to index anything as long as you are using the folder view. I also think poly will index the SD car anyway automatically when you first set it up - could be wrong about this so someone else can confirm.
