GoFigure just got the update on Android today.
Haven't tried to update my Poly yet.
Will do in the evening and report the result.

I just updated it on my android phone and can confirm that at least firmware update check works (my firmware is up to date so don't know how actual updating would work). But for me the firmware update check worked before this update as well on android but not on ios - after this update at least the firmware update check works on both.

playing around with the poly, I try to figure out how to index the music files on sdcard.

I want to use my 1TB sd card for my astell and kern and the Poly (so share the SD card between the two). All my music files are sorted by folders as: Genre/Artistname/Album per artist. I always use FOLDER view, because I know exactly what album, is stored where.

Is it possible to use it that why with the Poly too? And how? through Iphone IOS

What I am trying to say, is there a way to browse it the same way as I do on my astell and kern 'In Folder View'?
Because I really hate indexed files, where you get one big garbage bag of thousands of music files.

Even in my spotify everything is sorted in genre maps, artists maps and under that album maps.

In addition to the above, Mconnect does that too.

Poly will index regardless when you insert the SD card.

I've added multiple albums over the past week and indexed the SD card multiple times without issue. I spent a considerable amount of time getting the metadata and cover images properly done. The result is very good. But, if you've invested that much time curating you file structure, I'd go that route too.

For me the update to 3.2 still crashes (from 3.0).

My FW update did finally go through on iOS and it now shows the current FW version and the check says it is up to date. I would keep trying.

Nice to hear things seem to be working again. Did you still get the "device disconnected" message? Or did the update complete without that popping up?

To be honest, I'm not sure. I tried it when I was on vacation and I kept getting the device disconnected message. When I opened GoFigure to try updating when I got home, the update had gone through.

ok, so the final word is, working!
Tried on iOS, first updated from 3.0.0 to 3.2.0, then 3.2.0 to 3.2.1 and finally 3.2.1 to 3.2.4, not directly from 3.0.0 to 3.2.4 as I supposed.
After closing this book, we need something new to dig on :)
like where is Spotify connect and Chromecast support?

When I updated I got the disconnect and it then took several minutes before the Poly restarted

Same here, iOS update worked first time this morning, DB now rebuilding.

Edit: I probably should have left it as it was, its not scanning my SD card anymore. 😡

Another edit: I deleted all the DB files from the root of the SD card and its scanning the card properly again. :relaxed:

That is exactly how I use it (same sorted order you have and shows up exactly like that in folder view). And I always play it via folder view from MaximumMPD when using my ipad (in poly hotstpot mode). Although I prefer Android MAFA app but MaximumMPD does work fine as well. Not sure if you even have to index anything as long as you are using the folder view. I also think poly will index the SD car anyway automatically when you first set it up - could be wrong about this so someone else can confirm.
Is there a way just to select a whole folder in MaximumMPD? now I have to play every song seperately through the whole folder when the song ends?

Press and hold on the folder item. You are then prompted to either "Add to Queue" or "Add to Playlist"

Controls in MaximumMPD could definitely be improved (should be more obvious). This is one the reasons MAFA is better in my opinion - unfortunatelly only available on Android.

The prerogative of MAFA is that it has the ability to automatically detect the IP address of the renderers without the need to configure it manually, I have not encountered this fantastic feature with any other MPD app.

I also love the fact I can just put Cover.jpg in album folders and get album cover art displayed by MAFA. MaximumMPD also does cover art but MAFA display at least on my android phone looks better. Also MAFA displays all the relevant album/song info such as resolution and song timeline very clearly while still leaving most of the display for album art.
