Return for a refund. Buy from local dealer who can help with the update.
Sounds like my problem. You need the latest firmware, which is version 3.0 in order to work with the Mojo 2Just received Mojo2Poly a couple of days ago from MoonAudio and have fully charged and Poly status light just blinks blue and then shuts off. I've tried to use the pin to get it into access mode, with no luck. I've reached out to Moon Audio and I'm waiting a reply. Is it the firmware that needs updating? They must have sent me an older unit without the latest. How can I do this if I can't even see it in GoFigure, let alone I haven't been able to connect it to a WiFi. Ugh. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Scott
Moon Audio has reached out and they want it back to either update it or replace it. So frustrating. I remember the struggle of Poly a few years ago and got rid of it. I was hoping with the new Mojo2 and the new Poly firmware, things would work smoother. Not so far, but I'm optimistic.Sounds like my problem. I reached out to Chord and I’m sending in my Poly to be updated/serviced. So all is not, lost just delayed. I’m glad Chord is taking care of their customers even with a second hand Poly!Moon Audio has reached out and they want it back to either update it or replace it. So frustrating. Do you still have OG Mojo? Get Poly working, then hot swap it to Mojo 2 (already on) and see if it works. My version 3.0 Poly doesn’t work with my Mojo 2. The M-status light is blue and the P-status blinks orange. Pushing the configuration pin doesn’t do anything. Anyone else with this issue?
Try emailing support@chordelectronics.co.uk and see what they propose.Anyone got a used Chord Poly for sale?
Tried to connect my old one to Mojo today and noticed it no longer lines up. Opened it up and looks like the battery expanded out of old age or something. It has been almost 4 years in service...
AirPlay or Poly has a wifi bitrate limit? I’m aware of the former but wifi (non-AirPlay) can reliably go to 24/96 and perhaps 24/384 depending on network conditions unless Poly doesn’t support it.I could be wrong, but that is why they have the limit.
Poly supports up to 768. I just tried Qobuz with mconnect and I can stream hi-res fine. I used my home network since it was convenient. Perhaps it’s a network issue with your phone hotspot? I can try that later.AirPlay or Poly has a wifi bitrate limit?
