I’ve updated mine, finally. All seems well so far - I generally use Glider to playback from the SD card - but it seems that the internet radio functionality isn’t working for me now. I know the BBC default streams are no longer available anyway (thanks to the BBC!), but my user-defined radio bookmarks are no longer doing anything. Anyone else tried it?

I may have to reinstall Glider to get corrections to the indexing/listing of a few albums, but that‘s not the new firmware’s fault……presumably.

From my POV, it has been a few small steps forward, and one large step back so far….

One long shot: try deleting GoFigure and re-download it.

This worked for me. the Playstore did not show an update to Go Figure and I was not looking at the version number. Once I updated Go Figure, I was able to update the firmware. Thanks for the suggestion.

The poly mpd server is 0.21.11. Embed album art was added to mpd 0.22+

It does not read embedded artwork for me either, instead it downloads artwork from the internet which is just plain wrong. Any ideas?

The firmware upgrade went smoothly. But when I use the player in GoFigure and select SD Card, it shows radio stations instead of playlists.

Updated the firmware, but Poly had an issue. Before the update, I removed my SD card. After Poly finished the update, I put back the SD card. Poly started indexing. When it was done, GoFigure showed No Card. I removed the SD card, and deleted all the db/cache files. Insert it back to Poly, and Poly did the indexing again. Then, it recognized my SD card without anymore issue.

For those who has issue, try to delete all the db/cache files, and let Poly indexes again. Hope it helps.

I’m having problem with mconnect after firmware update. Mconnect can’t detect my poly as renderer . I can browse my sd card in mconnect but can’t choose poly as my renderer .

Check that your Poly's IP address is correct in Connect.

I initially had this problem with mconnect. It also would not connect to other renderers. I tapped the Airplay icon at the very top left, then selected iPad/Airplay, then selected Chord Poly. Now working.

Can you re-synch in your UPnP app? It certainly seems to help in Glider.

I don’t have this problem with Glider or other MPD apps, only UPnP apps, both mconnect and 8Player. Also BubbleUPnP and Hifi Cast on Android. None have a Sync function as far as I am aware. Therefore seems to be an issue with the Poly UPnP server. I suspect it creates duplicates when artists appear in multi-artist compilations. Bug or annoying feature?

Another issue with the new Poly UPnP Server. There are no entries for Composer or All Artists under Music.

Edit: Note the ridiculous number of Genre entries due to duplicates.
