Lucky guy. I wish I could say the same.. I only see trouble free playback with AirPlay/Poly hotspot mode.

Hey, I’ve even got artwork from Poly SD card files in Glider. :wink:

I'm sure @joe28 will be happy to look at this for you - if you haven't made direct contact already, either drop Joe an e-mail or PM.....

Yes, I'd be more than happy to take a look at what's going wrong here. If we fix whatever's causing these issues with your library, I'm sure many other users will also benefit.

I'm also getting the same error when trying to play DSD files.

Unfortunately the 714 error is coming from the Poly and translates to "Illegal MIME-type". I think a firmware upgrade will be required before the Poly can play DSD over DLNA. If you've seen DSD playback work with any other DLNA app (without transcoding), please let me know so I can investigate if there's anything that can be done on the Glider side.

Joe, Audirvana on the Mac Side can send DSD Files via uPnP/DLNA to Poly, works great for me.

Thanks @polymaniac - I just gave it a try in Audirvana and DSD files do in fact stream without a hitch to the Poly. But, a quick inspection with Wireshark reveals that Audirvana is sending a PCM stream to the Poly as opposed to DSD:
Code:
<res duration="0:03:34.000" size="226897964"
  protocolInfo="http-get:*:audio/wav:DLNA.ORG_OP=01;DLNA.ORG_FLAGS=01700000000000000000000000000000"
  sampleFrequency="176400" bitsPerSample="24" nrAudioChannels="2">
    http://10.0.1.2:49152/audirvana/audio_0_6.wav
</res>

This is probably happening because the Poly does not currently advertise itself as being capable of playing DSD files when invoking the UPnP GetProtocolInfo action. Do you know of any way to force Audirvana to always attempt to send the raw DSD stream as opposed to converting to PCM?

Yes, your right., this is what the Manual says:
"Full memory play with complete loading, decoding, sample rate and format conversion (as needed) of the tracks before playing."

and:

"DSD (DSDIFF including DST compressed, DSF, and SACD ISO images) with native streaming to supported DACs, or through high quality realtime conversion to PCM. MQA with first unfolding (playing the 88.2kHz or 96kHz content of 2x or more MQA audio files).

Thanks for confirming. But if you're seeing a white light on the Mojo then either the Mojo manual is misleading (since it does specify that white means DSD), or you have some Audirvana settings that are different than mine, and it is actually streaming DSD. In my case, I'm seeing a blue light on the Mojo while streaming a DSD64 file.

Why do I have the feeling that the Poly won’t be fixed before the end of the year?
