The update did not change the initial P status for me.

It takes time for it to first blink (searching for network) but when it does, it connects quickly. Sometimes I have to turn it off and on several times to get it to search for network.

Are others experience a significant delay (more than 2-3 minutes)?

The delay is getting to initial search and the battery is fully charged.

Yes

...

Any estimated-guesstimated date on the app release?

...

I'm guessing Christmas morning*. I'll have the milk (re: scotch) & cookies ready for His Greatness' arrival.

(*)- Or not.

Cheers.

Glider plays no with no issue from the SD slot but not so well from my NAS drive, not sure if it’s an issue with the drive which is around 3-4 years old- fairly standard Seagate drive or the Poly itself.

I'm no drive expert but if the NAS drive works with other devices/applications normally one might expect Poly to be at fault here. Poly has known network problems for some users.

Will this drain my battery hard like hotspot mode? So you can understand my concern with regards to battery life, I am contractually obligated to be available for afterhours oncall IT infrastructure support (for 60+ companies, i.e far from light call volume) so if my phone battery dies it could be disastrous.

I would have thought an external battery pack was essential for your usage.

I've had a couple of issues with playback of video's and music in the past with other devices, so it may be the drive.

I have a battery pack for emergencies. Using the Poly does not qualify as an emergency - I have more convenient sources that don't require fussing about with an external battery in the pocket.

Hello Matt

I tried doing the upgrade, but when I cannot in access point mode, a get the folowing screen:

Can you help me to get the upgrade done?

Regards

Patricio

You don't appear to be connected to Poly's internal WiFi - at least I can't see the WiFi icon showing at the top of your iPod page.
The page your are seeing is a old cached version of the Poly config page because it isn't connected to Poly to get the correct page.
Check your WiFi connection to make sure you are connected to the Poly WiFi.

Thanks Matt and Happy Holidays & Happy New Year!

One question: Is MPD playback of ALAC files supposed to work now? MPDluxe does not play back any of my files from the SD card. I hit 'play' and the play arrow briefly turns to the 'pause' icon, but then goes back to 'play' and nothing plays.

Yes it all works. Check you don't have another DLNA app playing or Airplay running before trying to play through MPDluxe. From your description it seems that something else is using Poly so MPD can't connect. If in doubt switch off Poly and then switch back on
to clear any existing connections and then try using MPDluxe again.

hello to you, mojo fan.

I would like your opinion.

I own Ak120II and Shanling M2s to listen to Zeus Xra.
I think resell Ak120II to acquire a mojo to associate m2s.

But, I would like to know if, it's a good choice.

Thank you

ALAC, FLAC and DSD works for me but MPDluxe didn't work for me with IP:6600, so i deleted the app, loaded MPDluxe new from appstore, then dito.
Then i tried MojoPoly.local:6600 instead of IP, this worked.

Is this the recommended Setting, YourPolyName.local:6600 instead PolyIP:6600? Should work both imho...

Thx

Both work for me. However I normally always use YourPolyName.local so I can change between WiFi networks and not have to enter a new IP address each time.

Are you thinking of going for the Poly/Mojo?
If you are asking about the sound of the Mojo try and get one somewhere that will give you a trial period if possible.
