Thanks - I did not know this. In that case makes no sense to buy DSD at all becasue those versions are all available for all the albums I'm interested in.

He never was on the Poly or 2Go threads because those products were not designed by him.
He still posts on the threads for products that were designed by him.
This excludes the streamers and analogue amps (analogue amps were designed by the Chord analogue expert (John Franks)).

There was a pretty "heated" discussion about DSD and how Chord handles it. Rob even commented on why he doesn't prefer DSD and why.

I recently received the case from this link (Ukraine seller) and it's my new favorite for Mojo2+Poly combo. I also have the premium leather (Chord design), and Miter cases and when I compare them all the case from Ukraine seller is just as rigid as the premium leather case which I really like (Miter is the least rigid) but it's far easier to get the devices in/out of this new case and it has ventilation openings on the bottom. Also, the ports and lights are all accessible/visible (lights easier to see than on the premium leather case). The only advantage of the premium leather case is the built in handstrap which I wish I would have asked the seller to Ukraine to add but still his case is overall the best in my opinion.

I'm thinking of setting up VPN with my Synology DS 918+ to connect remotely. I'm curious what solutions are working well for this configuration... If anyone is willing to share ideas, it would be appreciated. I have pretty solid symmetric 1 Gbps fiber so I'm thinking this might be possible?

I use openVPN off of my QNAP TS 473. No issues.

For media, I'd recommend Plex media server. No VPN needed. Roon server works off of VPN as well, but it's not terribly stable above 16/44 quality.

Jumped on the poly train again haha anyway was able to set it up earlier showed up in gofigure but now cant connect again to the app, tried both ios and android and it is not showing up. It is blinking blue lights and from researching this thread it says it is trying to connect, tried several times to disconnect/connect to mojo 2, reinstalled app to no avail... i am trying to reset the "network" using the configure pin but holding it for five seconds or 7 seconds does not do anything and light stays the same. Also tried listening for prompts when pressing it but cant seem to reset it. Any help would be very much appreciated

On a side note i figured this is already on 2.+ firmware already as it was able to be detected initially by gofigure and i was able to set it up earlier. I didnt get the firmware version yet as it restarted as part of the setup process and then i got stuck already, thanks in advance

I believe you need to be on firmware 3.0+ for it to pair correctly with a Mojo 2, and you need a Mojo 1 in order to get it to firmware 3.0+ (as well as a working update server which is currently problematic...)

Thanks sir, good thing a relative still had a mojo 1, was able to do the config button and the voice prompts appeared when connected to mojo 1. Was trying to update it via iphone gofigure app but it is popping up with the server error also mentioned by some here.
i take it that's the only inky way to update the poly?
- also with the poly configured on the iphone, does that mean it cannot be configured in an android device at the same time, or i could do that? Was thinking if i could try using an android phone to update. Thanks again

It turns out my Asus router supports WireGuard so I'm giving that a go. I wish there was a way to make it work with Poly...

Yeah, as far as I know, GoFigure is the only way to update. The issue is with Chord's update server, so it will likely have the same issue on Android. GoFigure connects each time, so you should be able to connect from iOS, then close the app, and connect from the Android, and then back, but I think you'll hit the same issue. There were some posts where when folks didn't have a Mojo 1 to fallback to, Chord would have them send it to the local distributor to do the update. I'm not sure if that means the distributors have a local/debug way to apply updates, or if they are also unable to do update until Chord's server is back though (plus all this shipping headache makes that un-ideal).

Chord really needs to get their server back online, it's been almost a month I think, which is nuts for a pretty simple file host server. I am guessing they don't have anyone in house to do it, and probably contract it out to the same people that do the Poly firmware itself, but they really just need to get them back under contract to get things back in order and to get feature updates rolling again. (Especially when there are some posts that say it is just an expired SSL cert, like that should take all of an hour of contract time...) Poly and 2Go customers are probably some of their larger fans, and they're currently disappointing and tarnishing brand

Just an update, was able to finally get it to be recognized by gofigure app on a consistent basis turns out what i have is version 1.0.4.1, i am getting the update prompt to 2.0 but the update does not push through and says there is no internet connection even though there is. Tried several networks on 2.4ghz but still the same i'm guessing this is bec of the server issue? just making sure so no need to try as i will just have to wait for it to be fixed, thanks in advance

I think you have to update to FW 1.3 via the microSD. It's been a while, but you can't use gofigure to update FW until you update to 1.x or maybe 2.

In essence, you need to download whatever the last downloadable FW is and put it on empty microSD. I would suggest to email Chord support. Otherwise, sift or search this thread to see if the download links work. You will not be able to use GoFigure until you get to FW 2.0.
