I think we try harder are prepared to push the limits of known electronics technologies and ofcourse we have most of our best ideas at lunch time in the Pub.( For over seas readers lunchtimes in Old English Country Pubs and the beer there in have inspired the very best of British design for the last three hundred years it's the place where the the first steam train, the first radio and TV, the first Jet engine, Concorde, Radar , Lasers, flat screen displays, the cavity magnetron, cat scans etc were all thought about first) makes me proud to to be English eh! Ps our best ideas are still yet to come!

Since there has been a rapid decline in the number of pubs, in the UK, in recent years, that might explain why we are witnessing such a dumbing-down of society, John!

One of my friends posted yesterday on FB, that he had just been to the Bristol Craft Beer festival, and the place was full of hipsters.
Just imagine all the creative inspiration being generated during the festival.

Hmmm, not much of a discussion taking place recently! We are getting quite close to the official launch date- I do hope to see some hands-on videos and initial reports from the media....
I would love to see myself buying a Poly but there is precious little information in a format that actually demonstrates the product in action.

How about some extended tutorial videos? Can the product be tested anywhere in the UK?

I had a pre-order in but decided against keeping it...I am still very much interested in purchasing a Poly but would prefer some additional clarity on the product first..

The most recent info seems to be here:
http://www.trustedreviews.com/reviews/chord-mojo-poly

Between that and the manual you should get a pretty good idea.

But, for in practice, we'll have to wait for media reviews, videos, and user reports. Plus, the new Chord app, likely also on Oct. 19.

Here, here! I believe the tutorial videos were going to be redone, but you’re right- it’s surprisingly quiet and I have seen zero demo videos

Uh, this will be an expensive fall/winter for me. I don't have any portable equipment atm and my plan is to demo/buy mopoly and a pair of iems (akg k3003i or shure se846 or sennheiser ie 800).

I used to like the mainstream iems like you did but now my preference would be Fitear TG334, FAD FA-BA-SS and the Audio Technica CK100pro.

If i could demo the iems you mentioned, i would give them a try. Mainstream or not does not matter to me. I would describe the hd 650 as mainstream but i still like them. I know this is not a audiophile opinion, but all i need is wearing confort and a sound signature which i like.

I would really suggest CA Andromeda if you're headed there. :)

I haven't been able to find any information on whether Poly is aptx/aptx hd/LDAC compatible. If it is not, would using Poly+Mojo via Bluetooth be a rather underwhelming experience?
Anyone?
