Thanks for jumping in to help guys. I ended up in a back and forth with Chord support that lasted weeks last year. Nothing they suggested would work. In the end I discovered that it would sometimes work after a cold reboot, sometimes not. Last night I managed to get GoFigure to connect via an old Android tablet I had lying around. No matter what I did with my iPhone 14 it wouldn't connect. I'm back up and running again. It feels like the thing is full of code held together by duct tape.

This might be asked before but is there any way to stream Windows 11 to 2Go without Bluetooth?
My Hugo2 and 2Go is already connected within a case, so kinda troublesome to take out the case just to connect it via USB.
My only solution so far is to connect via Optical to my TV (LG C2) and TV to my PC, this is far from perfect but would prefer a better solution.
Is there any app like mConnect / AK Connect in Windows 11?

The WiFi solutions only involve UPnP so you're only limited to what you can stream to 2Go. If 2Go supports Diretta protocol, you can literally wireless transmit ALL sounds from your PC (any apps) through 2Go losslessly
The whole purpose of the 2go is to be able to stream to it losslessly, which you cannot do over Bluetooth. That means Roon or DLNA.

I just bought a second hand 2go that is on firmware 1.5.7. Tried a few upgrade attempts, but nothing was installed and the firmware still reads as 1.5.7. I've read the past several pages of this thread and wasn't surprised when the process failed. Can we still assume that the upgrade server is offline?
I am US based. What is the best route to get the firmware upgraded? I've read about people using testflight beta apps on iOS. Is it possible to SSH into the device and manually force an update from a local file? Also read about people sending in units to SoundOrg, which I'm not thrilled with, given that I just got the thing.
I'll reach out to Chord support - if for no other reason than to add to the deluge of firmware upgrade complaints.

There have been no posts mentioning the server coming back online.I just bought a second hand 2go that is on firmware 1.5.7. You may well have to send your 2Go to SoundOrg. Frustrating for you, but maybe the quickest option.
Yes, email Chord support and they can advise you.
What benefits do you think a firmware update would bring? My own 2go is on 1.5.7 and I am content to leave it there because it does what I need.I just bought a second hand 2go that is on firmware 1.5.7. After all, it works stably and I have no faith that an update wouldn't actually brick it.

Firmware updates are used to correct issues. If you have n none than the update is unnecessaryWhat benefits do you think a firmware update would bring? My own 2go is on 1.5.7 and I am content to leave it there because it does what I need.

v 1.5.7 is the recommended version.

Not clear what extra benefits are provided by v 1.6.1

Thank you everyone.
Chord support emailed back pretty quickly to tell me that 1.5.7 was perfectly fine to remain on.
They also offered a statement about the update server being offline and being patient while they move over. I’ve seen this same text as far back as early 2024 in this thread, so I doubt that new servers are going to come online soon.
They didn’t say anything about shipping the unit off for the update. I hope that whatever servers appear in the future just get added via gofigure.
For now the 2go works well as a Roon endpoint and with the SD card via Rigelian.

Yes and now that Chord have nobody to make the firmware changes it seems a bit disingenuous to keep promising a fix.1.6.1 was intended to facilitate the switch to the new update server. No bug fixes or added features
I'm retired from software now so I do have a bit of time on my hands to work on software projects on a volunteer basis if Chord did get in touch... I'm not holding my breath though.
Where did Chord say that they don't have anyone? That contradicts the fact that they made a change to produce new firmware in the first place.now that Chord have nobody to make the firmware changes
My latest 2Go woe is that the left SD card slot won’t eject.
I’ll try tweezers.
