Ok, while trying to find the Takstar on Taobao, I bumped up these instead : TrueAudio P2. Looks nice and seem pretty small for planar earcups. Absolutely no idea how they sound though?

Its listed as :

Sensitivity : 90dB/mW
Impedance: 34Ω

List price: RMB 999/-. (Approx Us$149/-).

Nice find! I've been looking for those. They're yet another yoga rebrand, Yotronics cd1200. Unfortunately It's $299 on trueaudio website. Sundara he560, sine or alara don't cost that much more.

Trueaudio T2 looks very interesting for $49

Finally its here... packaging is nice especially when considering the price. Pads smell like poison.

There seems to be something going on with the driver, if i push the left earcup when im wearing them i can hear rattling and sound starts to cut in and out. I already mentioned about this to the seller, if his not cooperative i guess i have to open my second dispute to AE...

Sounds like you found the source of your channel imbalance.

Happened the same thing with me in the left side. I opened a dispute and the seller sent a new driver to me. I replaced the driver and it worked for around 6 months until the driver die. Now, i got these drivers to replace: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1-p...848.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4dll9Amo

I will update the thread with the result.

Seller already offered me a huge $2 refund, lol what. :D I decided not to continue arguing with him and opened a dispute. I think im going to just ask for a refund, this level of quality control is not very convincing.

Hmm, darn. I don't think I have any technical issues, but the bass presence is way too much without an EQ for me. On lower volumes it's bass only even.

There’s a bass port in the center of the magnet. You can use a piece of tape and cover as much of the hole as you like, and it will tone down the bass. I usually cover about 75% of the hole, which is the sweet spot for me. The headphones are very easy to open up. Just remove the pads and the screws are right there.

A friend lent me his Sivga SV007(Anbes 359 has a similar SQ) and I fell in love with the sound sig, so I ordered them on the bay for a good price. These have a great soundstage, airy, tight bass and treble clarity without being fatiguing and wait fantastic mids(Sinatra's voice is the clearest I've ever heard on headphones). The wood/metal design on these are so darn cool looking.
