I'm in Vegas starting the set up for CES today. I'm exhibiting in the Venetian room 30-336. I'm going to try and spend some time seeing what's new. I might even make it over to the main convention floor where AKG and Sennheiser exhibit. I'll try to take pictures.

Still waiting for a Senn HD680.

I know senn will be showcasing another headphone with little controls on the ear cup. Not sure what that is......... or if it is new.

The HD800 is not going to replace the HD600 or HD650, so I do not see either of those getting discontinued.
The big thing that will reduce prices is if an HD680 is released.

No news on the HD680 so far? I would love to see the same connectors on the headphone end as with the HD800.

There are no plans I'm aware of for an HD680.

There was a rumor there were going to be two new headphones.There was even an HD680 page on Sennheiser's site which later was removed.

The HD800 is for real, but no sign of the HD680 so far...

I think perhaps they decided to delay the HD680's release to some time after CES, so as to ensure the HD800 gets the spotlight (it deserves)?

Nah, doesn't really make much sense to me. CES is a major event and thus perfect for revealing your HD680 as well.
