I haven't seen anyone mention dynamic range or soundstage.

stereo separation on an lp can not even come close to a cd.
dynamic range of a cd is far ahead of an lp.
the noise floor will always be better on a cd no mechanical contact.
also i would like to see a recording of both lp and cd where there is
musical info at 20khz on a sacd or dvd-a maybe.

Some one once told me that I needed a DAC adapter.

what about the "comb effects" in that range caused by the CD sampling rates?

i think they are called comb effects... jan meyer describes them in detail in the "analouger" article...
