Here my take on CRASo my CRA just arrived. Because everyone review them already so i just gonna do a quick impression
Non Sound:
Box seems smaller compare to older kz. Tips is actually unusable, they aren't starlight tips but rather just ordinary tips that you can find everywhere on amazon, stiff and make CRA sound worse. Copper cable like EDC, not bad but i kinda want silver cable like NRA.
Sound:
Stock tips: V shape
- Bass: Subbass focus, very very tight and fast, detail, there is a lot of bass with just tiny bass bleed. Actually too much bass for my liking
- Mid: clean and neutral, a little bit lean if you come from harman iem but very clean vocal, female vocal sounds better than male vocal (whispy, clean)
- Treble: Well extended, even better than my Heart Mirror. 5k peak hits sometimes but overall not too much
Kz smol tips: Balanced
- Bass dial down a little bit make it more suitable for my taste
- Mid remain the same
- 5k peak is fixed
Timbre is the same as DQ6, just 1 cleaner and 1 more analogue
Absolute rec for under 50$, nothing beat this

Best tips for CRA are ePro Horn without doubt. Next level sound for sure, better bass texture, smooth treble without sacrificing extension, great stage.

I’m just using the stock tips on the CRA. Took the largest ones, I get a shallow fit but they stay in place nicely.
Is there anyone here who has experience with GK GSE and could share it please?
In particular, I wonder if there is a sonic similarity between the GK GSE and the CCA CKX (70€) besides the visual similarity. In fact, I find the CCA CKX to be very hearty and the GK GSE currently cost only about 25-30€.

Listening to the CCAC-CRA with my Sony NW-ZX507.
it sounds really good. Like too good for $15...
Clear, composed, great extension in both directions, great resolution and timbre. How did they do it?! So natural and balanced.
$15? I don’t understand.
Thanis to @tgx78 for the gift. I would never have thought that these Could sound so good.

Got a few more pairs of CCA CRA in to mod so I thought that I might as well make a detailed step by step guide on how to do my nozzle mod.
This mod aims to tame the 4.5khz peak without sacrificing detail or extension.
What you need:
Alcohol wipes/swabs, Needle, scissors
1. Take off the dust/earwax filter
2. Cut a 9mm X 4mm strip off the alcohol swab.
Make sure to fold the alcohol swab in half so you can cut both sides at the same time.
3. Roll the cut alcohol swab onto the needle
4. Insert the needle and start unrolling the swab into the nozzle of the CRA.
Keep a tight grip on the needle as it will be attracted to the driver magnet.
The final result should look like this. The swab lines the sides of the nozzle without blocking the nozzle completely.
Repeat the same steps for the other earpiece.
5. Replace the CRA filters
And voilà, gone is the raspy 4.5khz peak and now the CRAs sound more natural and refined while keeping all the detail and clarity that made it special.

Here is my EQ of the CCA CRA
I started from tgx78 settings but I tried to make it more neutral-ish. Basically more conservative bass boost and more tamed treble and air.
It's my first time playing with PEQ so feedbacks are appreciated.
You can download the project file at the bottom of my post, I have used the free software ddc-toolbox for it (can export to APO and DDC file)
