You know its funny you say that, I am highly considering ditching my desktop setup as well. I am interested in hearing what a fully unrestricted 1-Bit DAC implementation sounds like. I believe Cayin may make one such solution in the near future but there are definitely some available on the market already. And yes the Arya's are definitely hard to drive but are you using the balanced output?

Dosn't the N7 incorporate unrestricted 1-bit dac?

Still burning in (75 hours+) but bad interference this morning streaming qobuz/UAPP over 5g and wi fi on Pixel 7 - also same issue with the usb out on my dx240. Disappointed.

Balanced. Tried a bunch of cables including one ddhifi one. Same cables have no interference with the ibasso dc04 pro.

Interesting, I remember I had some interferences with my RU6 but using the stock data cable and balanced output and only next to some WiFi equipment — sorry I can't be of better help.

Thanks. hopefully it won't happen often. Yes, the RU6 had more significant interference issues - it went back to the shop very quickly.

It's limited by the physical restraints of a DAP, so no. Is it better than the RU7, yes.

Not sure what's the voltage at 300 ohm, but yes the HD650 is powered supremely well with the RU7 on high gain 4.4mm. Great dynamics without any bass bloat, with sublime vocals and mids. The HD650 RU7 is my main setup at home now for the past few days, haven't bothered to plug it into dedicated desktop amps haha.

Rumor back in February said Apple might want to put an authentication chip in its Type C to limit it function so don't get too excited just yet. Of course EU already express their disapproval as usual so who knows.

Thanks! Hopefully i'll be able to try it soon. Does it have a good end-to-end extension? So far i didn't find any usb c powered dongles (except the Questyle M15 maybe) that bring out the sub-bass in the HD650.

For those who like to know how this sounds with C9, I like to share that RU7 (4.4 mm Line Out 2.4V) +C9 (4.4 mm Line In + 50% volume + Low Gain) sounds phenomenal on Audio Technica ATH-R70X ! I think @Andykong and his great team at Cayin have nailed this brilliantly ! Dynamics, Staging you name it, works wonderful ! I dont hear any harshness at all with this combination.

I do like to caution that trying to feed RU7 into C9 through dongle Phone out does cause me some fatigue with treble response. This could be because I am sensitive to such frequencies. YMMV.

P.S Don't forget to change LO to PO on RU7 once your blissful session with C9 gets done. It will end up bad for your hearing, otherwise next time.
