Or you could turn it off while not using it. I do
Same. If it's not playing it's shut down. When i went away with work last time i left it on by mistake and 2 weeks later it was down to zero. School buy error!

the best protection from battery drain is to not have any unnecessary apps installed at all

Nice. I collected mine today. Love it!

For those curious about whether the flap at the top prevents the N8ii from sliding out, yes it does. Not sure with extensive use whether it will hold up but I think it will.

one thing I noticed after using it for a few days is that it's way easier to accidentally touch the lateral buttons. what I mean is they are more sensitive with this case. the original case had space between the actual case and the buttons I guess

I have this problem too even with the original case, can anyone tell me if it's possible to deactivate the hard side buttons so that I change tracks back and forward just from the app (UAPP or Tidal)? If it isn't it would be great if Cayin could address this issue in the next firmware update, thanks

There is the Lockscreen button settings under "Settings" icon, you can disable buttons.

I had to disable the buttons with the new Dignis case also. They will hopefully stretch and loosen with time and maybe be less sensitive. Also, the leather will patina beautifully it seems.

I found the same too! However, now that the case does not just slide out, I need to train myself to plug in and out without touching the sides anymore. That will reduce the accidental button presses! Love the Dignis case. It just fits the N8ii so well. I also love it that the play/pause has a kind of like dimple so that you can feel it without looking!

Sharing some pics of Dignis case in red, in case any are in the market. I like this case more than the original, just wish it was a bit more saturated and deeper in its color hue. In comparison to the original, here’s the grill pattern for heat dissipation.

My main reason for purchasing the Dignis case, as I had to use a homemade Velcro tab just to keep my precious from falling out of the darn thing. The top flap on the Dignis is great, but there's no excuse for what I consider poor design of fhe original case.

I do wonder how long the smaller sections of the top flap will last…

Once tucked in, the N8ii feels properly protected though.

Overall I’m happy with this case, and looking forward to seeing how the patina develops over time.

Red looks great IMO. Wish I didn't have mine up for sale or I'd be all over this. Your trailli look great as well btw. 👍

Thanks for the feedback but it doesn't work for mine, the hard buttons are still activated on touching, maybe I should factory reset?
Can you post a screen shot of your lock button screen?
