Well done, Cayin! I’m floored by its technical prowess… so glad I bought it!

Why do you think he is one of the greatest reviewer ?Haha, I didn't realize that but I guess that's true... You should be in marketing...

I am just keeping my Gen 1 Sonys. The N8ii is intriguing. I thought the original N8 was uglier than the backside of a mule. The new one looks very sharp.Well... I should give it more time, cause if I would be to make a choice right now, it would be N8ii, no hesitation.
But I doubt I will change my mind, without the N8ii, I would have given a chance to the Sony, but I don't think I will even push. (I won't make friends with the Sony fans, sorry!)

What is this slab like thing with fins.. does this stick to the back of the device ? or you place the device on top of this and it absorbs heat ?Playing while charging rapidly ? Never running out of battery ? Never heated up ? Problem solved
Rapidly charging at 90% while draining is faster than charging ? No problem
Tubes on ? Why not ?

Aluminum heat sink block off EBay back when I had Dx220 a few years back. Don’t need anything else, just have the player sit on top of it. It may have some sliding potentials, which you can put a couple strips of tape on the bottom (not behind) to prevent slipping. But it is best to be laying on top of a good cooking counter top instead lol!!What is this slab like thing with fins.. does this stick to the back of the device ? or you place the device on top of this and it absorbs heat ?
The aluminum block is good for office space
It will be best to use FiiO Stand with it, because it has a fan in the back and having a nice appealing factor too !!
Now only if @Andykong and @CayinSupport can pull together something similar or a deal to have us buying these stands easier, it would be ideal

Great idea!!
I had to copy. Got mine sitting in a micro fibre cloth then the heatsink, can’t risk scratching my baby

The back already has a vynil film applied, you will not scratch it that easily, unless you really meant itGreat idea!!

For this reason, I am still awaiting @Andykong to recommend me a tempered glass protective piece similar to the one provided in the box !!

I am hanging out and observing the thread. I am currently situated fairly well with Sony NW-WM1A, NW-WM1Z, and Lotoo Paw Gold Touch...this DAP does intrigue me.The back already has a vynil film applied, you will not scratch it that easily, unless you really meant it

Thank you @Andykong and @CayinSupport for your responses and help. It turns out that I might be at fault here.Yes, I also don't understand why I am on a diet already but I can't stop gaining weight.
Joking aside, let's examine the problem in more detail. This is not as straightforward as 1+1=2 in reality.
When I first got the device, I disabled the lockscreen as I prefer as close to music only as possible. After trying every charger I have, including my favorite Satechi 108w PD charger that I use for my laptop and cameras on tour, I never saw "fast charging". When I went to settings/battery I only saw "charging" , or often "plugged in can't charge now". I then noticed that several of the posts here people had photos of their lockscreens, and it dawned on me that perhaps the charging info would be shown there. Turned on the locksceen for the first time and bam, "charging rapidly" shows up. I had expected it to show up on the drop-down menu like my phone does, or somewhere else, so whoops, my bad.
Like I said, I definitely could be wrong here
I am sorry for wasting people's time, and for perhaps making Cayin folks feel like my device wasn't working properly. The DAP is phenomenal sonically, with a very smooth and fast UI, and crazy tech that somehow has been made portable, and I in no way want to cast doubt on its abilities. Sorry for the confusion, user error. Perhaps in a firmware update the fast charging status could also be shown in the battery settings menu, I feel that would be greatly beneficial for others.

@Tokpakorlo don't feel bad, it doesn't show FC when charging with player off either, only on android lock.

I figured as much, still I'm not taking any chances. It seems to be working out very nicely at keeping it cool. Noticeable difference by touch
