Looked on this forum but did not see "burn-in" recommendations for the N7.
You had some very good recommendations for the N8ii and was looking to see if you have similar words of wisdon for burn-in recommendations for the N7 since there is not the SS/Tubes section of the N8ii on the N7?
Length of Time? Just Burn in using Class A or split time on Class A and A/B?
Anything else I would need to consider?
Thanking you in advance?
N8ii is a lot more complicated because there are three variables that users might be confused: Tube/SS timbre, P/P+ mode, Class A/AB. N7 is relatively straightforward because the first two variables in N8ii are not applicable in N7.
The burn-in recommendation of Class A/AB features are applicable to both N8ii and N7, and you can find the following recommendation in N8ii burn-in setting:
- no need to burn in Class A/AB separately, they are different operation conditions of the same signal path, Class A will involve FOUR adjustable resistors additionally but there is very insignificant when compared to the discrete components in the amplification path.
