i think you're misunderstanding me... wish you would read more carefully. we're actually agreeing with each other. im telling the other guy that you can get the n6ii with any module, while HE is saying that it will only come with the E01. Man, people on this forum have very low reading and comprehension skills.

I never said the N6ii comes ONLY with E01. I said it CAN be bought with the E01. “Can” is very different from “Only”.

I now have everything in place to enjoy my N6ii as a portable system and as a bedside system - IEMs, over-ears, headphone amp, microSD card, all interconnents, fast-chargers, etc, etc. Unfortunately, I don't have my N6ii yet! As it was mentioned above, you have old fw, need to update it to enable E01 support.

Which fw version do you have loaded now? Look in Settings, about device, build should be 1.18EN. That's the one where E01 support was added.

Uhm, I see I'm not on 1.18. I was fooled by the "check for updates" saying i was up to date with 1.15. So I'm downloading for a local update. Thanks all, this should work.

Yipee, working now. And, it's driving my PM-3 with no problem. So with two minutes on it I like the AB better. But, time will tell, let the burn in begin!!

Though the same after a short listen , but try class A for longer , it can sound stunning with right iem
